Type of signage where the light source is placed inside the letter itself, illuminating the front face of the letter, creating a bright and visible display. Typically constructed with an aluminum backing and sides, and a translucent acrylic front to allow the light to pass through.
The light source is positioned behind the letters, casting a glowing "halo" effect on the wall behind them, creating a soft, indirect illumination around the letters instead of directly lighting the letter faces.
